Applications for the Special Relief of Distress (SRD) grant otherwise know as R350 grant are now open and will close in March 2022. If you want to submit a R350 grant application using Facebook, here’s a step-by-step guide on how to apply to R350 Grant on Facebook.
Did you know you can submit an SRD grant application using social media, Facebook to be exact? Well, you can. This is government’s efforts to make applying as easy and accessible as possible.
Applications for the R350 grant are open until March 2022. If you apply once and you’re approved, you won’t have to apply again. SASSA will do the job of going in and checking if you still qualify as the months pass.
How to Apply to R350 Grant Using Facebook
- Go to the GovChat Facebook page
- Click on ‘send message’
- Send a message
- Follow the prompts
Applicants will need to supply the following details and documents:
- Identity Number or Department of Home Affairs Refugee permit number
- Name and Surname as captured in the Identity Document
- Gender and Disability
- Contact details – Cell phone number
- Residential Address
Applicants will also need to accept the declaration and consent.
