The National Student Financial Aid Scheme (Nsfas) does not only cover tuition fees and accommodation, but it also looks after the needs of students through the provision of allowances that are paid out on a regular basis.
According to the National Student Financial Aid Scheme (Nsfas), allowance amounts are determined through consultation with institutions, communicated to Nsfas when the student has registered.
The bursary scheme confirmed through a statement that its students will receive their allowances directly from the scheme and this depends on the institution that the student is registered with.
Should you be a student pursuing your studies through the University of South Africa, your Nsfas money will be reflected on your bank accounts.
Whilst Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) college students view theirs on the Nsfas Wallet.
