How to Create myNSFAS Account
The following steps will help you to create your myNSFAS account:
Step 1: Firstly, visit the NSFAS website via > https://www.nsfas.org.za/content/
Step 2: Click on the myNSFAS tab in the top right corner. (See arrow in the screenshot below)
Step 3: On the next page Click on register.
Step 4: Tick on the acceptance option to allow NSFAS to verify and validate the information you have provided.
Step 5: Type in your ID number as it appears on your ID document.
Step 6: Type in your name and surname as they appear on your ID Document.
Step7: Type in your email address and cellphone number. Your username will be your email address.
Step 8: Create a password and confirm your password.
Step 9: Upload a copy of your ID.
Step 10: Click on register.
Step 11: After clicking register, a One Time Pin (OTP) will be sent to the email address and cellphone number you provided.
Step 12: Check your cellphone and email for the OTP.
Step 13: Type in the OTP in the tab provided and click submit.
Step 14: You will then receive another SMS and email confirming that your myNSFAS account has been created. You may now continue with your application.
NSFAS is the National Student Financial Aid Scheme which is a government loan and bursary fund for students.
