The University of the Western Cape (UWC) has improved the process of learning for prospective students by providing the Blackboard. That would make it easy for students to attend classes online, get lecture notes, and submit assignments.

To access UWC BlackBoard, navigate to the link below.
How to Access the University of the Western Cape Blackboard
- Visit the UWC Blackboard.
- Look for the login button, click on it, and type in your authentication details.
- Once Logged in, Select your School and Course.
- You will then See lectures available for your course.
- Click on Forgot Password / Reset Password
- Enter your Username / Student Email Address as Prompted
- You will receive details in your Email on how to access your account again.
- Follow these steps and assign a new password as prompted.
- Try Logging in Again.

STEPS ON HOW TO ACCESS UWC STUDENT PORTAL
Accessing the Student Portal is easy.
The first step is to Open an Internet Browser, this can be Mozilla Firefox, Google Chrome, Internet Explorer, Opera Browser or Safari. Any of these browsers will serve well.
The next step will be to access the UWC Homepage by visiting this Link. Search for the student portal tab and click on it.
Thirdly, If you are a new student or you are applying to the University of the Western Cape UWC for the very first time, you will need to access the portal with the username and password you were given when you were making your initial application. If you have none of these, then you would need to create a new student account. To do this, click on ” Create Student Account” and provide the necessary details.
If you happen to be a staffer or returning student, enter your existing credentials, which are your Username and Password on the login screen.
Guest users will be given a temporal login Username and Password. These will be delivered to you by Email. Kindly check your email address for these.
HOW TO RESET University of the Western Cape UWC Student Portal Password.
In the case that you’ve lost your UWC Student Portal Password or perhaps forgotten your username, kindly click on the forgotten password/username link. You will receive a follow-up instruction via email on how to regain access to your account.
