Ikhala TVET College (Ikhala College) was formed on 1st April 2002 through the merging of a number of previous Technical Colleges. Currently, Ikhala College is serving the communities of the Northern Region of the Easter Cape with campuses at Aliwal North, Ezibeleni, Queen Nonesi (Lady Frere), Komani, and Sterkspruit.
Ikhala TVET College offers a variety of courses as well as work-integrated learning. As part of work-integrated learning, they assist their students in gaining placements for internships, learnerships, or apprenticeships. Student support services are available to all students at all campuses.
Ikhala TVET College encourages its students to apply for NSFAS funding as it provides financial relief to low-income households.
