SASSA Grants offer crucial financial relief and hope to vulnerable members of our society. However, some people are looking to take advantage of these vulnerable people.
The South African Social Security Agency (Sassa) has warned its clients against applying for the so-called Sassa R700 grant.
Information around the R700 grant is being spread on social media. The message says that 575 000 people will benefit from the Sassa R700 grant.
This message around the grant is false and Sassa is warning its clients not to apply for the grant and provide their details.
Sassa said, ‘Please note that the below advert is FAKE and does not come from SASSA. No additional grant type is offered apart from the ones announced by SASSA’.
