Sassa R350 Grant Payment Date For March 2022

March 2022 was originally supposed to be the last month of payment of the SRD grant. However, during the 2022 State Of The Nation Address, President Cyril Ramphosa announced a 12-month extension of the grant.

Finance Minister Enoch Godongwana explained that R44 billion has been allocated to the Department of Social Development for the extension of the grant. The extension was made possible by ‘larger-than-expected revenue collections’. 

 

The SRD grant has no fixed payment date. The last three digits of your ID number determine on which days you may collect your SRD grant from the post office.
