Sassa Grant Payment Dates For February 2022

Sassa is responsible for disbursing grants to vulnerable South Africans. Every month, new payment dates are released. Here are the grant payment dates for February 2022.

Sassa Grant Payment Dates For February

Sassa released the following Sassa grant payment dates:

• Older Person’s grants will be paid from 3 February
  • This includes any grants linked to these accounts
• Disability grants will be paid from 4 February
  • This includes any grants linked to these accounts
• All other grants will be paid from 7 February
  • This includes foster care grants, care dependency grants and child support grants

One of the grants that have become extremely necessary has been the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) grant which was installed at the beginning of the pandemic and has since remained.

Should you be receiving your R350 grant through a bank account, it’s good to know that there is no fixed payment date but that you will receive the money that you are owed.

R350 grant payment dates for February

If you receive your grant through the Post Office, here are the R350 grant payment dates for February:

• 14 Feb: 081 & 086
• 15 Feb: 082 & 087
• 16 Feb; 083 & 088
• 17 Feb: 084 & 089
• 18 Feb: 080 & 085
• 21 Feb: 081 & 086
• 22 Feb: 082 & 087
• 23 Feb 083 & 088
• 24 Feb: 084 & 089
• 25 Feb: 080 & 085

The above dates go according to the last three digits of your ID number. Beneficiaries are advised to wait for an SMS that tells them their grant is ready for collection. Should you not receive an SMS, their won’t be a grant waiting for you at the Post Office.

Post Offices will also not be disbursing R350 grants on days that other Sassa grants are being paid.

Sassa has said that you do not need to fetch your grant on the first day and that the money will always be there for you to collect.
