Long before the Covid-19 pandemic, this is one university that has been operating online. Unisa has upgraded one of its portals, and this is will benefit many students at the university.
To make the student experience at Unisa more enjoyable and accessible, Unisa has upgraded the Unisa student portal.
In a statement, the university said:
Due to the upgrade of myModules on the myUnisa website, Unisa is closing the assignment submissions on the myAdmin platform.
On the myModules platform, there is a Student Webinar Training Schedule that was uploaded on 4 February 2022.
According to Denzil Chetty, lecturer at Unisa, these webinars are designed to provide Unisa registered students with the core skills for being digital learners within the university’s online environment.
This portal will also help students to gain access to valuable information, such as announcements, administration functions, and registered modules (myModules).
Students will need skills to be able to navigate the student portal if there is a course that has been designed.

Recently, Unisa also held its first physical Autumn Graduation ceremony after two years of virtual graduations.
In this two-year period, a number of regulations were implemented and prevented people from gathering in large crowds.
