Here’s what you should do about ‘Referred SAFPS’ R350 Status. The Social Relief of Distress (SRD) grant provides financial assistance to unemployed individuals. However, more than 4 million individuals who applied for the crucial relief had their applications rejected.
There are a number of reasons why your SRD grant application may have been rejected by the South African Social Security Agency (Sassa). However, you have the right to appeal a rejection status from Sassa if you believe they were incorrect in their assessment of your grant.
One rejection received by SRD grant applicants is ‘Referred SAFPS’. This means that you are registered as a perpetrator of fraud by the South African Fraud Prevention Services (SAFPS).
