The University of South Africa, known colloquially as Unisa, which was established on 26 June 1873, is the largest university system in South Africa by enrollment. It attracts a third of all higher education students in South Africa.

Application Fees
Please note that:
- University of South Africa Applicants is required to pay a non-refundable application fee of R120 for online applications. Applicants applying via Unisa for a TVET college can use a hard copy application – the application fee for this is R160.
