Are you an R350 grant beneficiary? Then you might want to take a look at the following dates to see if you haven’t missed your payment.
As the second week of December gets underway, the first cycle of the SASSA R350 Social Relief of Distress (SRD) grant is currently underway for this month and the Post Office has confirmed other payment dates for the month.
At the beginning of the month, the South African Post Office dispersed other SASSA social grant payments aside from the R350 SRD grant. Now the Post Office is processing these SRD grant payments.
So if you are a SASSA SRD grant beneficiary who has chosen to receive your R350 grant through the Post Office, you may want to take a look at the following dates.
These days will only apply to individuals whose identity document number has the last three digits listed below:
- 06 Dec: 080 & 085
- 07 Dec: 081 & 086
- 08 Dec: 082 & 087
- 09 Dec: 083 & 088
- 10 Dec: 084 & 089
- 13 Dec: 080 & 085
- 14 Dec: 081 & 086
- 15 Dec: 082 & 087
- 20 Dec: 083 & 088
- 21 Dec: 084 & 089
- 22 Dec: 080 & 085
- 23 Dec: 081 & 086
- 28 Dec: 082 & 087
- 29 Dec: 083 & 088
- 30 Dec: 084 & 089
It is also worth noting that the Post Office will not be processing any SRD grant payments on the following dates:
- 16 December 2021
- 17 December 2021
- 24 December 2021
- 27 December 2021
- 31 December 2021
Before heading to the Post Office, recipients have also been advised to wait for an SMS confirmation that will inform them that their grant is ready for collection.
SASSA SRD grant beneficiaries can also choose to collect their grant payments at any Boxer and Pick n Pay store nationwide.
This only applies to grant recipients who have received an SMS from SASSA confirming their collection pay-out point as either Pick n Pay or Boxer.
