Nelson Mandela University, formerly known as Nelson Mandela Metropolitan University (NMMU) is a comprehensive university offering professional and vocational training. The University has seven campuses – six in Port Elizabeth and one in George.

How To Apply
Step 1: Get your application form.
- Online Application:
Undergraduate and postgraduate applicants can use the same online application process. Read the steps by step guide on how to apply to Nelson Mandela University. - Hardcopy Application:
This option is only for postgraduate applicants. If you would like a hard copy application form, you may download one OR you will be able to request one by emailing [email protected] or phoning (041) 504 1111. From there, you will need to provide your postal address and the application package will be sent to you.- Postgraduates will also need to complete a postgraduate form.
- This form will need to be completed in addition to the postgraduate application form.

Please note that:
- There is no application fee for South African students.
- The application fee for international students is R500.
