The SASSA grant payment dates for October are:
- Older Person’s Grant: Tuesday 5 October 2021
- Disability Grant: Wednesday 6 October 2021
- Foster Care Grant: Thursday 7 October 2021
- Care Dependency Grant: Thursday 7 October 2021
- Child Support Grant: Thursday 7 October 2021
As for the Covid-19 Special Relief of Distress (SRD) grant, SASSA has said, “There is no fixed payment date for the special COVID-19 SRD grant”. You can find out the R350 Grant Payment Date Here.
All R350 grant applicants waiting to receive payments from SASSA have been urged to wait before collecting their grants.
“Avoid disappointment and visit your post office only AFTER you have received an SMS telling you your grant is ready.” said the South African Post Office.
