If you have submitted your NSFAS application and the process of doing so, you receive feedback that says ‘Signing of Agreement’, this is what this NSFAS status means.
If you are pursuing your tertiary studies this year, there is a high chance that you have already submitted your student funding application to the National Student Financial Aid Scheme (NSFAS).
What ‘Signing of Agreement’ NSFAS Status Means
While submitting your application you may have found that there is a stage commonly referred to as ‘Signing of Agreement’ and probably wonder what it means.
“Signing of Agreement’ means that you have reached a stage in your NSFAS application where you need to sign your bursary agreement so that NSFAS can disburse your allowances.
However, it is always important to note that NSFAS does not have a set timeframe when it comes to when your NSFAS status will change and how long it takes for applications to be processed.
It is also just as important to keep track of your NSFAS application status and you can do this by regularly monitoring it on the myNSFAS portal.
The closing deadline for NSFAS applications is on 21 January 2022 which leaves you with only two days if you have not yet submitted your application.
