The PGCE qualification provides professional preparation for teaching Senior Phase (SP) grades 7-9 and Further Education and Training (FET, grades 10-12) phases of schooling.

To qualify for a PGCE you will need to have completed an undergraduate degree which includes at least 2 school related subjects. You undergrad school related subjects and your postgrad school related subjects need to be the same in order to able to teach them.
