The Social Relief of Distress (SRD) R350 grant was introduced to assist unemployed individuals during the Covid-19 pandemic. Here is SASSA R350 Grant Payment Dates For This Week.
The grant was recently extended by 12-months. The extension comes as a welcomed relief to the recipients of the grant. This is more than 10 million beneficiaries who were set to collect their last SRD grant payments this March 2022.
The SRD grant has no fixed payment date. The last three digits of your ID number determine on which days you may collect your SRD grant from the post office.

28 February 2022: ID numbers ending in 082 and 087
01 March 2022: ID numbers ending in 083 & 088
02 March 2022: ID numbers ending 084 & 089
03 March 2022: No Payment
04 March 2022: No Payment

The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) distributes social grants in the country. However, all these grants are not paid on the same day.
Sassa distributes other social grants including the Older Persons Grant, Disability Grant and Child Support Grant. These grants are usually paid during the first week of every new month.
